چکیده
Abstract Background There are geographic variations in the genotypes of Helicobacter pylori ( H. ) cagA , vacA iceA oipA and dupA . The aim study was to investigate distribution these among strains from five regions China their association with clinical outcomes. Materials methods Gastric biopsy specimens were obtained 348 patients different gastrointestinal diseases China. regional 89 Shandong, 91 Guangxi, 57 Hunan, 58 Qinghai 53 Heilongjiang. presence determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) DNA. Results A total 269 isolates obtained, which 74 78 46 33 38 -positive status predominant regions. s1c (73.4%), m2 (70.6%) i1 (92.9%). In s1a m1 dominant. By contrast, dominant Guangxi Hunan prevalence subtype (78.8%) significantly higher than that other (P < 0.05). genotype iceA1 frequency more prevalent “on” gene frequent Shandong (91.9%) (91%) Heilongjiang (71.7%) Conversely, less half (31.1%) (15.4%), whereas it 73.9% 81.8% 0.001). no significant associations between common peptic ulcer disease (PUD) non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD) 0.05), but not observed Conclusions diversity can be considered as a marker for development gastroduodenal diseases. However, genes cannot regarded prediction presentation infection

Clinical Relevance of the vacA, iceA, cagA, and flaA genes of Helicobacter pylori strains isolated in Eastern Taiwan.
The genotypes of Helicobacter pylori flaA, cagA, vacA, and iceA were determined for DNA isolated from patients with chronic gastritis or peptic ulcer in eastern Taiwan. The vacA gene encoding the s1a subtype was found to predominate in peptic ulcer patients, and the iceA1 genotype was associated with chronic gastritis. cagA and flaA genes were not found to be associated with these types of dise...
متن کاملPrevalence of Pathogenic Genes cagA and vacA of Helicobacter pylori Isolated in Patients with Digestive Disorders
Background and Aims: Helicobacter pylori is the main cause of various gastroduodenal diseases. It is estimated that app roximately, more than half of the adult population in developed countries and 90% of people in developing countries infected with H. pylori. H. pylori infection may be related to Genetic of virulence factors and environmental factors. The aim of this study was to assess of fre...
متن کاملHelicobacter pylori isolated from Iranian drinking water: vacA, cagA, iceA, oipA and babA2 genotype status and antimicrobial resistance properties
Despite the clinical importance of Helicobacter pylori in human gastric disorders, its exact route of transmission is still uncertain. Based on the contentious hypothesis and findings of previous investigations, water may play an important role in the transmission of H. pylori to humans. This study was carried out to investigate the vacA, cagA, oipA, iceA and babA2 genotype status and antimicro...
متن کاملPrevalence of Helicobacter pylori vacA, cagA, cagE, iceA, babA2, and oipA genotypes in patients with upper gastrointestinal diseases
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Helicobacter pylori has been strongly associated with peptic ulcer diseases, chronic gastritis, ulcers, and reported as a risk factor for gastric cancer, too. The vaculating cytotoxin (vacA), the cytotoxin associated genes (cagA), the induced by contact with epithelium factor antigen (iceA gene), blood adhesion binding antigen (babA2), and outer membrane protein oipA h...
متن کاملPrevalence of cagA, vacA, babA2 and iceA genes in H. pylori strains isolated from Colombian patients with functional dyspepsia.
The clinical outcome of Helicobacter pylori infection has been particularly associated with virulence genotypes. These genotypes are useful as molecular markers in the identification of patients that are infected and at high risk for developing more severe gastric pathologies. Our main objective was to determine the prevalence of virulence genotypes cagA, vacA, iceA and babA2 of H. pylori, in p...
